City Attorney

The City Attorney serves as the general counsel and legal advisor for the City of Cushing and its public trusts, as well as the Board of Commissioners of the City and the Trustees of the various trusts. The City Attorney also serves as the legal advisor to the Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment and as the prosecutor in Municipal Court. He also serves as an advisor to the City Manager, Clerk, Treasurer, and the department heads of the City on such matters as risk management, regulatory compliance, purchasing and contracts, and employment matters.
