City of Cushing Announces Utility Cost Adjustment to Support Infrastructure Maintenance and Service Reliability
Cushing, OK – The City of Cushing is dedicated to providing residents with safe, reliable, and efficient utility services. In recent years, the rising costs of operations, repairs, and maintenance have resulted in financial challenges for our utility services. To ensure the continued quality of our infrastructure, the City will implement a cost adjustment beginning June 1st.
This adjustment will result in an average increase of approximately $30 per month for average use of electricity, sewer, and water services of customers. The decision to adjust rates has not been taken lightly, as the City remains committed to keeping costs as low as possible for our residents while maintaining the standards of service that our community relies on for their homes, businesses, churches and schools.
The additional funds collected through this cost adjustment will enable the City to carry out essential repairs, perform routine maintenance, and support system upgrades to meet customer needs. These efforts are critical to ensuring the reliability and safety of the utilities we provide to our customers.
The City offers several convenient payment options, including cash, check, and credit card. To make payments more manageable, residents are encouraged to explore Average Billing and Auto Pay programs, which help to spread costs evenly throughout the year and ensure that no payments are missed.
The City of Cushing thanks residents for their understanding and cooperation as we work together to maintain the infrastructure that serves our community. For more information on these changes and available payment options, please contact Utility Customer Service at (918)-225-0277 or visit www.cityofcushing.com.
