Water Treatment Plant

The Cushing Water Treatment Plant was put online in April of 1999. We are supplied by 9 wells predominately located east of town. Prior to the construction of the current water plant, the city of Cushing was supplied by Cushing Lake. We lime soften and chlorinate the water before it enters the distribution system.

We are staffed by certified DEQ water operators and lab technicians, who monitor, perform lab tests, sample, and repair broken equipment at the plant.  We also maintain the 9 wells and 3 storage facilities which are part of the treatment facility.
