Nacy Dowell

Professional:
Nancy Dowell is currently serving as an elementary principal for Cushing Public Schools. She has served in this capacity since 2008. Prior to moving into administration, she taught 5th grade at Deep Rock Elementary School.

Other professional positions held included Halliburton Services, Duncan, Oklahoma - writer and KLAW Radio, Lawton, Oklahoma - writer.

Personal:
Nancy hometown growing up was Lawton, Oklahoma. She graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1980. Following high school, she attended the University of Oklahoma to study journalism with an emphasis in public relations. Following graduation, Nancy returned to Lawton to start a career. In 1984, Nancy met and married Dale Dowell.  The Dowells made their home in Velma, Oklahoma where Nancy chose to stay at home and raise her children. The oilfield brought the Dowell family to Cushing in 1996 and Cushing has remained home. Dale and Nancy have three grown daughters, all graduates of Cushing High School, and three adorable grandchildren.
