Professional Biography:

Huseman is the City Attorney for the City of Cushing, Oklahoma. Before coming to work for the City, Huseman was an attorney in a local firm dealing in a variety of real estate, oil and gas, business, and estate planning issues. He attended Oklahoma City University School of Law where he was a Merit Scholar, named to the Dean’s List, and earned the CALI award for Client Representation in Arbitration. He also received the Pro Bono Service Award and earned a certificate in Client Representation in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy Training. Before attending law school, Huseman was a successful high school teacher and coach. He coached three dual state championship wrestling teams and numerous individual state and placers. He was named Coach of the Year by the Oklahoma and National Wrestling Coaches Associations. He also was named All-State coach. Huseman also achieved the prestigious National Board of Professional Teaching Standards Certification as a history teacher. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and a master’s from Fort Hays State University.

Personal:

Huseman is a native Oklahoman. He resides in Cushing with wife and two children. In his spare time, Huseman enjoys researching history, working with livestock, hiking and camping, and cheering on the Cushing Tigers.
