JOURNEYMAN LINE WORKER

The City of Cushing is now accepting applications for a Journeyman Lineman to work under the supervision of the Electric Superintendent.

Applicant must be skilled in the construction and maintenance of high voltage and low voltage electric line’s, overhead and underground to include installing and removal of electric poles, transformers, insulators and associated equipment etc. See Job Description. 

Must have working knowledge of methods, materials and tools used in the electrical field; working knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade; Considerable knowledge of the principals of electrical theory as applied to electrical circuits and wiring diagrams and the ability to apply this knowledge to working situations. There will be on-call duties, and we must have a timely response to Cushing area.
